About the Movement
Reflectionism is an emerging American art movement developed in Dallas by artist JD Miller since 2001. Nine artists build oil paint into three-dimensional sculptural works that physically rise from the canvas and shift with light, shadow, and the viewer's position.
Their full effect cannot be captured on a screen; the work must be experienced in person. Nine original Reflectionist artists, each personally trained by Miller, comprise the movement. The Inaugural Reflectionist Exhibition on September 12, 2026 marks the first time their work will be presented together before the public.
Private Press Previews
Private walkthroughs of the Inaugural Reflectionist Exhibition are available by appointment before the public opening on September 12, 2026. Credentialed press are warmly invited to experience the work firsthand, a viewing that cannot be replicated on screen.
