Reflectionist Artist
Dallas, Texas
A Dallas-based Reflectionist artist whose evocative compositions delve into complex societal issues and personal introspection.
The Artist
Transitioning from a career as a psychotherapist, Fisher channels her deep understanding of human emotions into her art, creating bold and emotionally expansive works that mirror her life experiences. As a Reflectionist — the movement founded by JD Miller — she employs a distinctive three-dimensional oil technique, sculpting richly textured canvases that captivate viewers with their depth and vibrancy.
Her paintings explore themes of adventure, raw emotion, and self-discovery, inviting audiences to engage with their own intuitive consciousness. The years she spent in clinical practice gave her an acute awareness of how feeling lives in the body — and her paint carries that knowledge into the surface, layered and built until the texture itself becomes emotional weight.
In addition to her visual art, Fisher hosts 'The Art Of...' podcast, where she discusses creativity and holistic wellness — reflecting her commitment to healing through artistic expression and her dedication to fostering personal growth and societal reflection through creativity.

The Movement
Reflectionism is a contemporary art movement founded by JD Miller in Dallas in 2001. Its central proposition is that the constructive intentions of the artist — joy, gratitude, love, wonder, inspiration — are preserved within the physical substance of a dimensional oil painting and can be experienced by anyone who stands before it. Nine founding artists, each working in three-dimensional oil, carry this philosophy forward in their individual voices.
